A Game for Getting to Know People
by Terrence on Mar.29, 2009, under Life
The Game
Take turns asking and answering the questions below. There are no exact rules. The idea is to have fun mostly with just the conversation. You can modify questions for younger children. You can introduce drawing or painting, singing or charades. You could throw a bean bag back and forth each time you do a new question? You can do this standing, sitting, or walking. It can be played inside, outside or over the phone. It’s not a competitive game. It’s a game of fun, warmth, and relationship building.
Print out the questions below. You can either take turns asking questions you like from the list or you can randomly choose numbers, whatever works for you. If other questions follow naturally, all the better. Let the conversation flow! Let us know how you modify the game for more fun!

My Anaconda Don't Want None Unless Its Got Buns Hun
Well, it was an interesting night. My day started off with a Mango juice and some water, followed by a 30min run and a personal
training session. I then ran to work to get a laptop and charger that I had on my desk that I needed for a project.
I then ran back home and pushed Vu to get ready in time for us to meet one of his friends for a night at the Theatre! We got to his friend’s house and we promptly hopped in the car and headed to the Alliance Theatre where a new children’s program was to debut. It was a stage version of Class of 3000, a Disney film. I got to see Andre Benjamin and a few other muckity mucks. And hundreds of little ones clamering for the show.
All in all, it was a great night.
Then I took out Vu for a little birthday dinner before bed. He got the eggplant parm and I got the chicken parm. We both had a ton of salad and shared a Tiramisu (our favorite).
After that we literally got home, got in bad and the snoring began!
Tomorrow we have a birthday dinner then I have to head on home.

Ok, starting today I’m on a 50 pound challenge.
I’m going to do the following:
- Record what I eat for Lunch Every Day on this blog.
- Record My Workout Patterns
- Make Changes to My Plan as Necessary but only to allow me to reach my goal.
Milestones:
- Reaching the 20pound marker.
- Being able to do 3 sets of 30 pushups and sittups.
- Being able to run 2 miles without stopping.
That should be a good start.

GPEN Certified!!!

GPEN Certified
I’m am as of 11am today a GIAC Certified Penetration Tester.
For those of you who don’t know what that is. I am certified by one of the world’s premiere security training organizations to go into a company and assess their network and computer security by breaking into systems and validating vulnerability findings.
I then report my findings to the company so that they can then fix all of the findings.
Morning Workout… not so much!
by Terrence on Feb.24, 2009, under Exercise, Fitness, Life
Well, I apparently don’t enjoy dragging myself out of bed at the crack of dawn and throwing myself forcefully onto the elliptical machine and then lifting weights. My body just didn’t take kindly to these ministrations.
Well, I guess on a lighter note, when I move I’ll be going to the gym around 6pm, working out until about 7pm and then heading on home to my honey bun.
Now, back to work. Someone is whipping me on the back telling me to mush, what am I a pack dog?
Cheers!! (I work for an aussie company, they say that ya know!)
Back to Goals
by Terrence on Feb.22, 2009, under Work
Well, I’ve navigated away from my primary personal goals slightly.
Work has kind of altered my times a bit, so I was not able to get to the gym as often and focus on my goals.
So, yesterday started my new found drive to achieve my goals.
- Lose about 50 pounds. Off to a reasonable start on this one.
- Alter my diet, increase vegetable and water intake.
- Attain GPEN and CCNA certifications.
I need to be more productive!
by Terrence on Feb.19, 2009, under Life
As I sit here eating my dinner after work and studying for an exam in about a week, I find myself thinking about how unpreductive we are with constant interuptions. At work today, for example, I was going to get a bunch of paperwork done, but instead I sat around with Symantec and Microsoft trying to fix problems. I will either have to stay late tomorrow or get it all done tonight and frankly, I’m a bit tired, so it will probably be tomorrow.
Anyway, no more interruptions tomorrow.
Anywho, on a lighter note. Made another amazing pasta. Same as before, just one or two carrots and about a half cup of green peas, frozen (they seem to cook better).
Transferring Posts

Dear sweet lord!
This is no easy task. I’ve got the images over, but now I don’t have comments or anything else. So I’m working on getting my plugins and comments back. We’ll see how it goes.
- Get Posts Over – Done
- Get Images Over – Done
- Get Comments Back – Working on it!
- Get Categoirs Back – Working on it!
- Get Plugins all back – Working on it!
I’m thinking a day or two.
